Spidermonkey is an Arachnichimp. They live on the planet Aranhascimmia where they are constantly on the run from hunters high in the treetops are they are considered a delicacy on their planet. A known Arachnachip is Simian, who works for the Highbreed. He told Ben he was a prince, even though he isn't. Ben worked for him to find a crystal on the Moon, which Simian pretended was the source to his home planet. At the end Simian finally gave himself away when he attacked Ben to steal the crystal. Ben gave him the crystal and he ran off with it and gave it to the Highbreed. Unfortunately for Simian, it turned out Ben had given him a DNAlien ear cleaner instead while he kept the crystal. The Highbreed got mad and attacked Simian.
