Benwolf is a werewolf-like alien with mouth flaps that open from the bottom. In keeping with his werewolf appearance, Benwolf has both enhanced strength and speed, as well as powerful claws. He also has canine-like senses more acute than that of humans. Finally, he has a long-range attack in the form of an ultra-sonic howl (capable of shattering rock), which he can use by opening his mouth flaps. While in that form, Ben slowly changes into Benwolf in three stages rather than changing instantly. When he was slowly changing, he showed some animal characteristics. It is unclear if this carries over to Benwolf because of his limited appearances.
