Carl Tennyson is Ben's father. He makes his very first appearance in the in the TV show is, "Goodbye and Good Riddance". His job is to work as a natural gasoline engineer. His father is Max , but he holds some bitterness against Max. Carl, later was taken as a hostage by Vilgax, but later escaped with his son, Ben's help. He then unites with Ben, his niece, Gwen, and Max locked in combat against Vilgax, ending in the result of setting off one of the gasoline liquid and left Vilgax burning while being defeated. He and his father settle afterwards. His first ever appearance was Ben 10: Race Against Time. It is revealed in Ben 10 Alien Force episode What Are Little Girls Made Of that his mother is Verdona Tennyson. Carl Tennyson is the brother of Frank Tennyson and brother in law of Lily Tennyson.
Carl Tennyson has only made one appearance in the Ben 10 Series.
