Ghostfreak is a shadowy alien with ghost-like powers, able to phase through walls and turn invisible. His ghastly appearance is also good for putting fear into the hearts of criminals everywhere. In fact, even Ben gets a little creeped out when he changes into Ghostfreak.

Unofficial Biography

Ghostfreak is a shadowy, phantom-like alien, and has protoplasm that can change its density. This enables him to phase through matter and turn invisible at will. He may have only one eye, but he can position it anywhere on his body, but by using a track traced along his skin. His appearance can also bring fear in the hearts of criminals everywhere, and sometimes, even Ben is creeped out. Ghostfreak can also peel back his own skin, which reveals a horrifying mass of innards. Direct light and chemicals that can affect his body will nullify his invisibility and intangibility. He is also not meant for extreme combat.

Omnitrix Version Modifications

Ghostfreak, the version stored in the Omnitrix, is different from his kin. He has a second layer of protective skin, which allows him to operate in sunlight. His one eye can also be moved along a track on the skin, allowing Ghostfreak to have an eye on the back of his head. The second skin also tones down his normally frightening look, giving him the appearance of a more classic ghost. Since this version was created from a strand of Ectonurite DNA, his mind remained intact and suppressed within the Omnitrix.

Advantages & Abilities

• Ghostfreak has the ability to be intangible (move through solid matter) at will.
• He also can become invisible at will.
• Can float on air currents.
• He has telepathic and telekinetic abilities.
• His eye can be moved along a track traced along his skin.
• He can peel back his skin to reveal a large mass of tentacles, as well to reveal a more hideous appearance of him, transform into Ghostfreak's real form
• Possess other sentient beings
• Cause people to shiver and freeze when he phases through people and things
• In real form's tentacles are prehensile
• In the darkness of space, Ghostfreak becomes larger and more powerful, growing spikes on his shoulders and hands, gaining larger, and growing sharper teeth
• In true form can fire purple Corrodium-like beams in the darkness

Disadvantages & Weaknesses

• Direct light and certain chemicals can nullify his invisibility and intangibility.
• Compared to the other aliens, he is not as strong.
• Without his protective layer of skin, Ghostfreak is extremely photosensitive. Direct light, as well as other devices that can project ultraviolet radiation, will burn him when his protective layer of skin is removed. Enough exposure causes him to combust and die.
