Gilbert is a boy whom Grandpa Max had almost ran over in the beginning of "Camp Fear", but was later rescued by Ben as Cannonbolt from falling of the corner of a cliff. He is from Camp Opinicon. His behavior hints that he was a scaredy-cat in the beginning, but near the end, he becomes brave.
