Joe Kelly is a comic book writer and artist who is behind titles such as JLA and Action Comics. He is also a part of the Man of Action group and a creator of the series Ben 10.

Joe Kelly studied at NYU and was recruited to Marvel Comics and was trained to be a potential comic book writers. His first monthly assignment was Deadpool which was well-received. Kelly's next major assignment was to work on the bestselling title, X-Men. Eventually, the X-Men creators quit and cut Kelly's time with the title short, blaming it on consistent editorial interference. Kelly then went to work for DC Comics and worked on Superman.

In 2002 he began to work on JLA, Green Lantern, and several others. Kelly has recently completed a run on DC's Supergirl and has announced that he will be writing a story for Amazing Spiderman in the near future.
