In Ben 10: Protector of Earth, after regaining XLR8, Ben, Max, and Gwen journey on to Mesa Verde. When they arrive, Ben notices that some of Vilgax's drones are attacking a group of Forever Knights. Ben doesn't know who to fight, so Ben battles both the drones and the knights before moving on to Area 51.
