A cartoon runs, and little kids are being attacked by villains. They destroy the playground. Meanwhile, three heroes come in. First is Fourarms, referred as “Handy Buddy,” and has a Scottish accent. Heatblast, referred to as “Fiery Buddy,” and Wildmutt, referred to as “Doggy Buddy.” The team successfully thwarts the villains, and the cartoon ends, calling them a united team referred as the Super Alien Hero Buddies. In the RV, Ben is shocked to see that his aliens are being mocked, while Gwen is enjoying herself.
Ben looks at a propaganda poster to advertise the show he despises, and it seems that their RV is busted. Gwen asks him if they are able to get to Planetary Studios, where Grandpa Max reveals that Ben is dying to see his favorite hero, Kangaroo Commando. Grandpa Max tells them to go ahead first without him, and they immediately grin with happiness.
Inside the park, Ben tells Gwen that he has been watching Kangaroo Commando’s show for a while now, and he tells her that he is the reason for making him a hero in the first place. While Ben jumps in the air, he bumps onto a man in a Fourarms costume. The man corrects Ben that his name is “Handy Buddy,” and offers him a hand shake. Ben declines and is infuriated with it. They look at another poster, this time advertising a man, Tim Dean, the creator of the Super Alien Hero Buddy Adventures cartoon. Gwen asks him if he wants Tim’s autograph. A group of entertainers pass by in Wildmutt and Heat Blast costumes, including the Fourarms man he met earlier.
Tim Dean autographs a picture of Fourarms, and hands it to a very happy young boy. As he runs off, Ben heads up the line and takes a picture of his “Fiery Buddy” character, tearing it to shreds. Ben complains that Dean is stealing the idea from the news. Dean tells him if he has proof, and calls “Fiery Buddy” to drag him off. Gwen says that Dean doesn’t seem to be open for criticism. So Ben decides to transform to Heatblast to give him a “physical” one. Before he can go on with what he originally planned, Heatblast and Gwen notice that Kangaroo Commando is in danger. Heatblast heads out and uses a vortex of flame to carry him down. He then absorbs the flames to extinguish them. Kangaroo Commando asks him what he is, or what he is doing, and Heatblast tells him that he came to the rescue. Commando tells him that he just ruined his stunt show. Heatblast tells him that he can fix it, and shoots a ball of flame, hoping to start a blaze again, but unfortunately, the ball bounces back to the audience.
Kangaroo Commando kicks him to the stands, and douses the flames with a fire extinguisher. He drags Heatblast down with his wire. Commando is angered that the cartoon show cancelled his show, now thinking that Dean is also planning to control over his live action shows.
While Dean signs a picture of “Doggy Buddy,” he notices a sequence of fire balls being shot in the air. Kangaroo Commando swings in the air, while Heat Blast shoots balls of flame at him. Commando lands at the next building, calling Heatblast over. Heatblast jumps to him, but Commando avoids it, causing Heat Blast to fall into the water. The audience cheers, while Gwen watches in horror, hoping that Ben is all right. Behind her, the Omnitrix deactivates, and Gwen asks Ben if he’s okay. He says that he is all right, and notices Tim Dean coming by. Dean argues with North, blaming him for “stealing Fiery Buddy” for his stunt show, but North counterattacks back, claiming that Dean sent him to try and intimidate him. Ben tries to talk to North about Heat Blast, but he did not seem to want to listen.
Ben and Gwen head to a rollercoaster branded to Kangaroo Commando, and wonder why no one is on. They did not seem to be bothered by it, as no lines were there to keep them waiting. The rollercoaster starts and travels down the tracks, while Ben calls out with enjoyment. Rocks start to collapse from the ceiling and hit the track, bringing them in danger.
The coaster continues to ride down the track, but fortunately, Kangaroo Commando was there to save them. He uses a hook to hook onto the train, and he jumps down to cut the safety bars off. He then notices a lady hanging from the other side of the track, and he jumps to the next platform to save her. The Omnitrix was finally charged up and ready to transform him.
Outside, North and the woman are in danger when a piece of the track falls down upon them. Luckily Ben transformed to Fourarms in time to get it. More of the ride collapses, and Kangaroo Commando comes to the rescue to get a couple of the kids. Fourarms then comes shortly after to come and get the rest of them. They were happy that “Handy Buddy” came just in time to get them. Fourarms tells them that his name is not “Handy Buddy,” and they seem to be a bit too unpleasant about it.
Fourarms asks North if he can team up with him as heroes, but he seems to be upset and declines Ben’s offer. Gwen is suspecting that something is up, and North finds a glove, suspecting that Dean set explosives off to try and set him off. Fourarms jumps to the sky, unfortunately changing back to Ben, and Gwen mocks him.
Meanwhile, Dean is furious that North is blaming him for blowing up his ride, just so that the studio park can build one to Dean’s cartoon show. North uncovers the curtain, revealing boxes of explosives. The security pulls him away, but Gwen’s wits seem to have saved him. She claims that the glove doesn’t belong to Tim, because Tim Dean is a left-handed animator. The security then tries to hold on Dean and North from trying to hurt each other. Ben is confused why Gwen had to open up her mouth in the first place, but she knows that North is only an actor who is trying to save his show. She also suspects that he was the one who set the explosives on fire, especially seeing how well he is with his stunts.
Stinkfly and Gwen track North down. Stinkfly notices that the park is premiering a new episode of the Super Alien Hero Buddy Adventures, and Ben doesn’t seem to handle it maturely. Gwen says that they are close to his dresser room and tells Stinkfly to land. Unfortunately he changes back to Ben and they fall into the stunt pool. The security notices them, and they try to run away.
They find North in his room, talking to someone, but Gwen says that he’s talking to himself. Before they can hear more detail, the guard catches them, not noticing the trail of water they made, and warns them that they might be kicked out of the park.
As an announcement comes up to display a new episode of Dean’s show, it is interrupted, showing North in trouble as he hangs in chains, ready to be dropped down into a pot of chemicals. Then they notice Dean running down trying to get away from Kangaroo Commando. Ben intentionally tries to transform to XLR8, but he changes to Wildvine instead. Ben is suspecting that North really is in trouble, but even more confusing to Gwen is how can North be at two places at once. Wildvine tells her that his mind is totally out of place.
Wildvine jumps to one of the buildings to find it in flames, and finds one of the props aiming at him. Outside, a boy notices Wildvine and cheers for him. Wildvine uses his sharp vines to dig through the prop’s circuitry. Now he heads to North to try and save him. Then, Dean comes out as well, hanging in chains. Ben thought that he kidnapped North, and Dean thought that North kidnapped him. Wildvine is confused more than ever, after seeing that North and Dean are both in danger.
A man activates the chains to bring them down to the boiling chemicals. Gwen comes in to help out. More explosives are set off, but luckily for them, Wildvine was able to extend his arms to get them out. North figures out that someone has taken over the park’s control center. Inside, a man is activating switches. Wildvine rotates the chair, and finally figures out that North had a twin brother, Kane. Kane tells them that he kidnapped them both, because North took all the credit, and Dean ripped off from his show.
Kane throws a smoke bomb and ties up Dean and North yet again, and this time, he plans to throw them down from the roof. Wildvine comes in time to untie North. Wildvine fights Kane, but unfortunately, transforms back to Ben. North comes to return the favor and punches Kane in the face to knock him out. He claims that they are both a hero, with or without their costumes.
The police come in to take Kane into custody. Dean and North seem to be cooperative now, though they seem to be uncaring for any of Ben’s past actions. Grandpa Max tells them that they are ready to hit the road, but he had something to show them that he bought from the toy store near the garage. Max takes out a “Handy Buddy” figure and immediately, Ben reacts. Gwen laughs that Grandpa Max actually bought Ben one of the figures from the show that Ben despises.
