Swampfire is a Methanosian from the planet Methanos. Swampfire is a plant-like alien with a flame-patterned head. His powers are a combination of those of Wildvine (having his body made of plantmatter and being able to command them,) Heatblast (the ability to shoot fire) and Benmummy (regeneration), who are from the original series. He has super strength, vast regenerative powers, the ability to control plant life through a type of gas, and the ability to emit fire from his palms. His regenerative ability also allows him to alter his own body, such as tunneling underground in vine form or growing his feet to root himself into the ground. Swampfire is Ben's first transformation when the Omnitrix is recalibrated in "Ben 10 Returns".

Omnitrix Version Modifications

Ultimate Swampfire is seen in Ben 10 Ultimate Alien as an version in the Ultimatrix with much changes.

• Your body is made of bark and is colored blue magma

• The forms of his legs are the same as Swampfire legs and hands as well.

Future Alien Description

Future Swampfire is mentioned by Paradox in "Paradox", but he is not seen.

Advantages & Abilities

• Shooting fire attacks from his palms
• Can manipulate nearby plants with a special gas coming from his palms
• Can regenerate from most damage; (making him nearly impervious to physical harm) invaluable considering the Omnitrix's new weakness
• Enhanced strength
• Can tunnel underground
• Can root himself in the ground to gain leverage

Disadvantages & Weaknesses

• Body Odor, perhaps a side effect of the burning plant matter
