She also showed up again later in the episode, still in holographic form, to talk to Ben about his issues with Ken."

But with Gwen we were discussing if Gwen really was using magic of if it was her undeveloped Anodite powers.
I belive zodie 10 pointed out that when(ben 10) Gwen used magic the color was blue and when AF Gwen uses her powers the color is pink, but then again , Charmcaster's powers have a pink color too, and she is using magic.
