*chuckles* Probably the purse is an alien hyper-dimensional pocket where she stores all of her other alien tech, like those animatronic doggy dolls and so forth.

Technically magic vs. alien tech is a digression from the original topic of the thread, which was apparently whether or not Gwen appeared in the episode "Ken 10", but it's a relevant digression and seems to be persistent so I guess we'll go with it. :p

Regarding the pocket dimension thing, what one must remember is that space-time is not flat. It's curved. On the everyday scale of things we generally don't notice that curvature. It's so slight that we tend not to be aware of it at all. However it is possible for space and time to become very warped and curled, as is the case with a black hole. Additionally, theoretical physicists claim that there are at least 11 spatial dimensions, including the three we are most familiar with. The other 7 or 8 they say are all curled up so small that they aren't noticeable above the sub-atomic scale.

By now I'm sure some of you are sitting there with your eyeballs rolling back in your heads over all this science talk. I'll just summarize by saying that it's possible for a lot of space to be stored in a very small space by bowing it or curling it up. That's how a hyper-dimensional pocket can fit in a purse.

*sigh* Okay, example time. Take a handkerchief and spread it out flat. That's your hyper-dimensional space. Much bigger than your pocket, right? Now wad it up in a ball and stuff it in your pocket. That's how a hyper-dimensional pocket fits inside a purse. :p

I REALLY wish it worked that way, it would make my job a hellava lot easier.:)
But anyway, here is what I found on CN's press kit;

"Gwen Tennyson"
No longer the annoying, nerdy, tomboy cousin, Gwen has grown into a beautiful teenage girl. She achieved the black belt she had always sought, and more importantly, she learned to master the energy manipulation powers she believes she acquired through magic.

I guess it is her powers, not magic.
