He absorbed the wooden ball that Gwen gave him, so we know he can. I would guess because wood is not a strong enough material to protect him well. Wood isn't necessarily strong enough not to break under stress, it is not bullet proof unless very thick and it burns. So if there is anything else like stone or metal around he would choose the strongest material.

wood howerver would (hey a new jocke) be good to camflouge in the woods if you ever get chased by an army of forever knights and you're out numbered.i think it's not a good meterial for offense (or defense) Do you find this valuable? |

i thought the ground type was immune to the eletric type. even though the grass resist it.

Like a potato in a microwave. Kevin doesn't "become" wood, he forms a protective outer armor from whatever substance he uses. Do you find this valuable? |

If I was being struck by lighting , I wood agree, but if I needed a defence against Electricity or a magnetic field I wood be would, woodn't you ? ( Oh NO, A wood pun) :)
